The Story of Jill Desiree

Few artists embody the spirit of classic soul, jazz, and R&B like Jill Desiree. Born in Australia, raised in Indonesia, and educated at Berklee College of Music, Jill blends powerful, expressive vocals with the artistry of some of Los Angeles’ most accomplished musicians, drawing inspiration from legends like Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin, and Whitney Houston.

Jill first stepped into the spotlight with her debut EP Cover Story, recorded live with renowned players from the LA music scene. She followed with the singles Sounds Like Music and Broken, the latter winning Best Jazz Song in the 29th Annual USA Songwriting Competition. More recently, Jill was named a Semi-Finalist in the 2025 Unsigned Only Music Awards for Best Female Vocalist for her song The Rain Can Fall, and her track Tickety Tock advanced to the Semi-Finals of the 2025 International Songwriting Competition in the R&B/Soul category—marking another milestone as she continues to evolve as an artist, songwriter, and performer.
